About my work
My research focuses on the use of space, trying to understand how it is produced and experienced through our social practices and every day lives. In particular, I am interested in how our production of space affects our relationship to our natural environment and to each other. My goal is to apply this knowledge to the creation of individual sculptural pieces and installations that directly engage the viewer physically and mentally and emotionally by creating new places within our everyday landscape that challenge our traditional experience of space and inspire new perspectives.
